• On appointment, you'll have a complimentary planning call with one of our Permitted Development Specialists who will go through your project with you in detail to discover what your intentions are for your extension. This will set the base for your background planning check where we will discover the feasibility of your extension going forward. ​

• We will review your local council's planning policy data to identify the land policies they have placed on your property. You will receive a full breakdown of policies attached to your property along with map evidence. This is a critical process as certain policies can have a major affect on your project's feasibility. ​Some policies will remove your Permitted Development rights whilst others will limit what you are allowed. 

Planning application search for previous similar project

• We will review your local council's planning records and discover similar projects to your extension. We will discover which ones passed and which ones failed. This information is vital to discover any precedents that have been set, which can be referenced in your application to improve your chances of success. ​

Planning officer decision notice summary

• We will assess the planning officer's decision notice summaries of similar projects on your street to discover why they have passed or failed. This is vital to identify how the council implement their local plan in your area, as the same extension can be passed in one area, but rejected in another. 

​Permitted Development Specialist full report

• We will combine all the information discovered in your background planning check and condense this into a concise and easy to read report.  It will provide you with all the information you require to understand your project's feasibility going forward. 

A results call from your Permitted Development Specialist

• You will receive a call from the Permitted Development Specialist who undertook your background planning check to go through the results. They will discuss the feasibility of your extension and discuss how best to move your project forward.
